Fly Fishing the Anders River
Private or small-group outings with a licensed local guide on one of Washington's better-kept trout rivers. Gear, flies, and a shore lunch included; catch-and-release only.
Experiences
Every experience below can be booked directly through the concierge, combined into a single day, or spread across a longer stay. Most run rain or shine — this is the North Cascades, and we plan around the weather, not against it.
Water

Private or small-group outings with a licensed local guide on one of Washington's better-kept trout rivers. Gear, flies, and a shore lunch included; catch-and-release only.

Riverside wood-fired sauna sessions ending in a cold-water plunge in the Anders. Available for private booking or shared sunset sessions three evenings a week.

A guided paddle downriver at first light, when the water is glass and the elk come down to drink. Kayaks, dry bags, and coffee provided.
Trail

A 5-mile round-trip trek with our resident guide up to the overlook above the Anders Valley, ending with a packed lunch at the summit. Suitable for most fitness levels; sturdy footwear required.

Guided rides on singletrack above the valley, with bike and helmet rental available at the lodge. E-bike options for a gentler climb.

A walk through the property's forest edge with our chef, identifying and gathering what goes on that night's Timber Table menu. Ends with a tasting back at the lodge kitchen.
Restore

A multi-course dinner built same-day around whatever our forager brings back that morning — mushrooms, berries, greens, and river fish, paired with Washington and Oregon wines.

A private driving tour of three small producers within twenty minutes of the lodge, including a barrel-room tasting not open to the general public.

Guided stargazing with a telescope and a local astronomy guide on our overlook deck, well above the light pollution of the valley floor. Weather permitting; blankets, hot cider, and hot chocolate included.
